The Xiaomi sub-brand has released a reduced edition of its upper midranger, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, in addition to the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. Even though it is the standard "Pro" version, it has a 200MP camera but gives up several other features for a cheaper price.

In Malaysia, there will only be one version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, which costs RM1,399 and has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Starting on January 20, you can buy it from all authorized Xiaomi locations across the country as well as from the official Xiaomi store on Shopee and Lazada.

First off, although it sports a 6.67-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display that is comparable in size to that of its Pro+ sister, it has a conventional flat display rather than a curved one, which may or may not be a good thing depending on who you ask. The specifications remain largely the same, with the exception of moving to a flat display: 2712 x 1200p resolution, 1,800nits peak brightness, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 2,160Hz touch sampling rate, full DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and 1,920Hz PWM dimming.
